Hi my name is Les Frair and I have been photographing birds and wildlife for the last 30 years.
My interest in wildlife photography began during my days as a professor of engineering. In 1998 my wife Karen and I retired and moved to Cambria, a small town on the central coast of California where we had ample opportunities to photograph birds, mammals, and beautiful landscapes. After 20 wonderful years in Cambria we retired for a second time (with cat Tuff Pumpkin) to the Rogue Valley Manor in Medford Oregon. In addition to wildlife photography, our activities now include pickleball and indoor exercises such as swimming, strength training, and yoga.
